About

Hi, I'm Nimra.

I'm a UX researcher with four years of experience across AI systems, health informatics, and climate tech. I've managed large-scale, country-wide studies funded by the NIH worth over $1.5 million.

I currently lead mixed-methods research to inform product design and strategic planning at Seed Collaborative. I am also building the research capacity of 52 public agencies across Los Angeles County.

Before Seed, I worked with Google, where I improved the usability of the Gemini suite through user research, prompt and rubric design, and synthesis of design guidelines for chatbots and AI-driven search.

As a Research Scientist at the University of Pittsburgh, I managed all phases of studies on designing AI applications for healthcare contexts. My efforts have led to four papers scheduled for publishing in top-tier HCI and health science journals and conferences.

I received my Master's in Information Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin School of Information, where I specialized in user-centered research and design.
